29 year old farmer admits killing roomie over #4,000

A 29 year old farmer, Jammus Ibrahim, has confessed before a magistrate court in Ilorin that he killed and buried his roommate, Sahagari Jubirl over his refusal to return N4, 000 he kept with him. While narrating the incident to the court, Ibrahim, who spoke through an interpreter, said when the victim died after being hit with a stick, he dug his grave and buried him in the farm yard.

Woman beats three-year-old girl to death for vomitting

According to a story by Punchng, a 21-year-old woman, Rebecca Bassey, (pictured above) has been arrested for allegedly beating her husband’s three-year-old niece, Deborah Bassey, to death.Rebecca is accused of beating Deborah at their home in Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos on July 22nd because the little girl vomited and defecated on herself

Miss Africa contestant found stabbed to death next to her daughter

Former Miss Africa contestant, 29 year old Linah Keza was stabbed to death on Wednesday in her home in the presence her 3 year old daughter, Holly.Neighbours who responded to her call for help found the Rwanda-born model in a pool of blood in her  flat next to her crying daughter.

Linah's off/on boyfriend and father of her child, club promoter David Kikawa, 38,has been arrested in connection with her death. According to neighbours, David was a regular visitor at her flat until about two weeks ago. They told police he was jealous and possessive and frequently fought with Linah.

Linah's home had a panic button fixed when she alerted the police about cases of domestic violence.RIP, Linah!

Man absconds after wife delivered triplets

A 30-year-old mother of triplets, Bose Akapo, has cried out for help in search of her husband, Biodun Akapo, 45, who reportedly absconded  shortly after his wife delivered of triplets.

It was gathered that the father of the triplets, who  is a  farmer at  Afojupa village, a suburb of Owode-Egba town  in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area  of Ogun State, bolted when  he received the news of the birth of the triplets.

It was further gathered that the wife and the runaway husband are  indigenes  of Ibadan and have been living together as a happy family in the village for over a decade, before the arrival of the triplets.

Narrating her ordeal, Bose, who  delivered  the babies last Wednesday at a  maternity home in the town, explained  that  she was bailed out at the hospital by  a  traditional ruler of the town, Oba Kolawole Sowemimo, who paid the hospital bill.

She further said her husband  had gone out before  she started having pains and was assisted to the hospital on a motorcycle by a neighbour.
