Hip-hop star Chris Brown has been accused of assaulting a woman — again.
The short-fused singer shoved the victim to the ground at an Orange County nightclub Saturday night, and she might need
surgery, TMZ.com reported.
Deanna Gines, 24, said she was in the VIP section of Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim along with Brown, 24, after he performed there.
She told TMZ the shove came as the bar was about to close, and she believes it was deliberate.
Gines claims she fell hard on her knees and was told by hospital staff she has torn ligaments and may need surgery. She sent TMZ a photo of her with crutches and a huge black knee brace on one leg.
Anaheim police confirmed an alleged assault fitting her description but would not identify those involved.
"On Sunday, a female victim called Anaheim police to report she was assaulted on Saturday night at Heat Ultra Lounge," Sgt. Bob Dunn told the Daily News. "She said the alleged suspect was male and that he pushed her and in doing so caused her injury.”
He said police have an "open assault investigation" and that the first thing we'll do is make contact with the victim and then work from there."
Attempts by The News to reach Gines were not immediately successful.
“I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after PowerHouse," Brown's rep Nicole Perna, referring to a concert, told TMZ. "None of this makes sense."
Brown is currently on felony probation for beating then-girlfriend Rihanna bloody in 2009.
He also reportedly jumped singer Frank Ocean at a recording studio after a dispute over a parking space, but that case was never prosecuted and he denies the allegation.
