Rick Ross' contract with Athletic shoes apparel and accessories company Reebok has been terminated as a result of his controversial rape-lyrics on Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O (Rocko is an Atlanta based artiste). Rick Ross spat these lines on the song: ‘Put molly all in her champagne/ She ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that / she ain’t even know it’.
Simply put, Rozay was promoting directly or indirectly the drugging and raping of women.
Reebok's statement on the issue reads: ‘While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse. At this time, it is in everyone’s best interest for Reebok to end its partnership with Mr Ross’,
Rocko has also replaced Rick Ross' controversial verse with a verse from Wiz Khalifa
